GENERAL DESCRIPTION

 

Marine grade 5083 aluminium “Deep Vee” type hull to combine stability and comfort with efficiency of operation. The 'Vee’ hull forward with multiple spray rails afford a great amount of lift to ensure smooth water flow around the hull and reduce spray and wave making. Aft the hull angle of deadrise flattens slightly to provide greater load carrying and guarantee clean water flow to the propellers.

 

Welded aluminium construction throughout for minimal maintenance, maximum working life and continual operation. Marine grade 5083 (N8) Lloyds approved aluminium is used on all plating in the construction. The material used on the hull plating is 5mm thick and 4mm plate is used to manufacture the topside plating, internal transverse, longitudinal and bulkhead frames. In addition 10mm thick plate is used to construct the engine beds with 6mm supports positioned under the engine feet. Heavy-duty HE30 extrusions are used for stringers, chines, support angles and channels. 4mm thick treadplate is used for the floor and foredeck. Polyfoam Bouyancy fitted within hull, suitable to insure hull survivability in collision conditions.
